Fantastic routes – mostly on gravel!
Hubriding is a concept where you stay at the hotel and enjoy new and exciting routes every single day. Many of the routes are suitable for motorcycles as they are on gravel roads “all the way round”, while others are suitable for you with a bicycle or electric bike.
The tours run in the mountain areas inland from Hafjell, starting from Nermo Hotel by bike or car to get to a suitable starting point. Nermo is a venerable hotel and part of the Historic Hotels and Restaurants. This means that you are cycling in some of Norway’s most beautiful and easy mountain terrain. The tours will give you wonderful nature experiences and some opportunities to eat well along the route, preferably with a packed lunch. In some of the routes, we have included suggestions for sights you can visit. To get off to a good start on some of the mountain tours, we recommend that you take the car some distance from the hotel to reach a good starting point, if you choose to cycle. This is indicated in the individual tour description. The hotel has both a 9-hole course and an 18-hole miniature golf course with real grass. How about ending the tour with a barbecue buffet on our west-facing terrace with something cold in your glass while you talk about today’s tour and plan tomorrow?
