Welcome to an arch-British tradition in historic surroundings at Nermo. What better Saturday activity than this in the fall?
Welcome to Afternoon Tea at Nermo Hotel. The meal originated when the Duchess of Bedford was feeling peckish between lunch and dinner back in the 1840s. The Duchess was so pleased with the meal that she began inviting her friends to this new, decadent meal. Today’s version of Afternoon Tea is an enjoyable experience with family and friends.
Our Afternoon Tea is inspired by the season and access to local produce. We will run this on regular Saturdays with limited seating from 14:00 – 16:00. (4 tables with max 8 people per table)

There is no Afternoon Tea in August or December, but it is always possible to send a request on other days, if you are a group.
Price kr. 395,- per person, supplement for champagne or other bubbles with and without alcohol.
Our Afternoon Tea includes Scones served with Bonne Maman, orange marmalade and local raspberry jam from our neighbor at Moe Gård. 3 different finger sandwiches, 3 different sweet options, lemon cake, Earl Grey panacotta, brownies and/or tarts. 3 different “Nermo specialties” such as macaroons, coconut cake and Nermoknekk. Tea of your choice. Feel free to contact us if you are a group, and we’ll see what we can do.
You can also enjoy an extra good cup of local tea from Aukrust Gård og Urteri – choose between “St. Sunniva”, “Seter te” and “Peiskos te”.
