Restaurant Nermostuene
Dine in our restaurant, where guests have been gathering at the table since 1933. Local food made from scratch, with elk from the mountains and herbs from the garden.
Today, the fifth and sixth generations run the hotel, with the same philosophy as their great-great-grandparents: guests should feel at home here.
Luxury in every detail
Nermo Hotel is home to Restaurant Nermostuene. In addition, you’ll find Vidsyn at the top of the ski slopes in Hafjell. We offer a variety of food experiences built around quality local ingredients.

A mountain-top restaurant at the summit of the Hafjell ski slope, offering panoramic views over the entire Gudbrandsdalen valley, 1,000 metres above sea level. The same high-quality local cuisine from the Nermo Hotel kitchen is served here.
We offer more than just a traditional restaurant table. Wine, beer and champagne tastings, a grill buffet, and two restaurants are part of Nermo Hotell.
It’s always wonderful to arrive at peaceful and cosy Nermo Hotel. Authentic Norwegian food with both flavour and soul.

The history of Nermo Hotell
Johannes Nermo grew up between guests, kitchens, and mountains. Today, he is the fifth-generation hotel operator, running the hotel together with his family, just as his father did, and his grandfather before him.
The fire in 1932 destroyed everything, but it was rebuilt from the ground up. The war came and went, and so did financial crises.
Transport
Nermo Hotel is located in Øyer, right by Hafjell. It is 15 minutes north of Lillehammer and just under two hours from Oslo. Whether you travel by car, train, or arrive at Oslo Airport Gardermoen, it is easy to get here. And if you need a ride from the station, we are happy to pick you up.
