The storehouse suites

Two storehouses from before 1730 have been converted into four spectacular suites. The timber was originally felled in Numedal, and Johannes spent six years transforming them from a granary into what has now been named one of the world's most romantic hotels. All suites have a gas fireplace, underfloor heating, handmade bathtubs, wine cabinets with red, white, rosé and bubbly, and continental beds from Svane.

Breakfast at the hotel, some bubbly as a welcome, a minibar with local products and access to all hotel facilities. Three of the suites also have a private day bed with views of the valley.

In the two suites on the ground floor, the large, handmade bathtub is sunk into the floor. On the second floor, it stands free like a sculpture in the middle of the bathroom. All have the same high standard, but each has its own character.
