Mountain and hiking trips

From the hotel, you can take short walks in the forest around the property, or longer hikes into the Øyer mountains towards Hornsjøen and the mountain farms. The gondola in Hafjell also works as a shortcut up to Mosetertoppen in summer, where trails open up in all directions.

About 700 metres from Nermo Hotel, at the top of the old Nermo ski slope, you’ll find yourself surrounded by protected forest with views over the entire valley. We can arrange breakfast or dinner up there for those who want a meal a little out of the ordinary.

The Pilgrim’s Route runs just above Nermo, taking you through a landscape shaped by centuries of travel and tradition. Hiking here is about more than reaching a destination, it’s about the peace, nature, and the experience along the way.
