Sparkling wine, cured meats and 300-year-old timber

The small storehouse at Nermo Hotel has been a treasure trove for generations.

Here, cured hams were hung from hooks in the ceiling, as they still are today. The only difference is that we now like to serve ham with a good glass of bubbly.

Traditional cured meats

We make our own cured ham, from pigs that have roamed freely out on the farm. The meat is cured and dried the old-fashioned way, and sliced by hand when you order. Paired with a glass of sparkling wine and maybe a piece of sweet brown cheese, this is a great way to start the evening, whether you're waiting for dinner in Nermostuene Restaurant or just want to enjoy a quiet moment.

The storehouse accommodates a small group. It is not a restaurant, but a place to gather and enjoy a drink or two and something to nibble in a space where the walls have stood for 300 years.

A lovely start to the evening

Most guests who visit the storehouse do so before dinner at Nermo Hotel. It’s a perfect combination. You sit quietly for a while, taste something homemade, and then head to the table with a good appetite and a little extra sense of calm.

The storehouse is available for both hotel guests and external visitors. Just let us know at reception or when you book a table, and we will take care of the rest.
