Not many hotels can say their neighbour brews beer using fruit from the farm right next door – but we can

Raspberry Brew from Smaavesen is made with berries from Moe Gård, our closest neighbour in the valley. Nermo Beer, a Blond Ale from Grimaas Bryggeri, is our own signature brew. Both taste exactly of where we are. It’s a perfect starting point for a beer tasting.

What you taste

We tailor the tasting to suit each group. It can feature different beer styles, various breweries, or a combination. Some prefer a journey through local flavours, while others enjoy comparing styles across breweries. We decide together what fits best.

The tasting can be held in the wine cellar, the meeting room, or on the terrace during summer. It also works perfectly as an aperitif, where the group gathers for a drink before dinner is served at Restaurant Nermostuene.

Beer tasting prices

  • 3–4 varieties: from NOK 395 per person

  • 5–6 varieties with storytelling: NOK 595 per person

The tasting lasts 1–1.5 hours. Minimum 5 people. Can be booked as part of a conference package or directly.
