The wine cellar at Nermostuene

In the wine cellar you will find everything from local craft brews to wines carefully selected to match the food we serve.

Beneath the hotel lies a room that few guests know about until they are invited down. Thick stone walls ensure a stable temperature all year round. The long table seats twelve. And the shelves are filled with bottles carefully selected by the head chef.

Dinner and wine tasting

We can set the table for a wine dinner in the basement, under Nermostuene, for up to 12 guests. Our chef composes a menu, selects the wines and is happy to share the story behind each bottle. It is intimate and personal, far removed from the usual hotel experience.

We also arrange wine tasting for small groups, either as part of a company event or for groups of friends who simple want to try something a little different.

What is the wine cellar?
Below the hotel there is a room with thick brick walls and a long table for 12 guests. Here, we arrange wine dinners and wine tastings. Our chef composes a menu and selects the wines. Arranged on request.
What is Nermostuene?
Nermostuene is the hotel's main restaurant on the ground floor of the main building. Here, guests have sat at the table since the building was completed in 1933. The rooms have several rooms of different sizes, from the large dining room to smaller venues for parties and intimate dinners. The menu follows the seasons, but some dishes are fixed: the moose patties, homemade apple cake and crumble that have been rounding off meals here for over a hundred years.
Do you have to stay at the hotel to dine in Nermostuene?
