In the wine cellar beneath the hotel, we serve wine paired with food around the long table for twelve guests. At Vidsyn, the Winemaker’s Dinner is among the most popular evenings of the year.
In the basement of the hotel, you’ll find a wine cellar that many guests only discover when they are invited down. Surrounded by thick stone walls, the room maintains a stable temperature all year round – perfect conditions for great tasting experiences. Around the long table, there is space for twelve people, and along the walls are shelves filled with carefully selected bottles, handpicked by the head chef.
At Vidsyn, the view is part of the experience. Here you can lean back with a glass in your hand and look out over the entire Gudbrandsdalen valley. The wine list is curated to allow for both the simple and the extraordinary. Perhaps you only want a good glass after a few hours on the slopes. Or perhaps the occasion is more special – here you will find both, and everything in between.
